The Greenwood Lake Merchants Guild (of which I'm, the vice president) is about to embark on some exciting marketing and promotional projects to boost tourism in Greenwood Lake. The plan is to get major name recognition within the tri-state area as a premier Lake destination that is amazingly close (50 miles) to NYC. And with the devastation that's occurred in the resort communities of New Jersey from Superstorm Sandy, we're expecting some new found interest in Greenwood Lake as vacationers seek alternative destinations.
